The Eiffel Tower is probably the most famous landmark in Europe. The closest airports in France for a visit are Charles De Gaulle and Orly, both major Paris international airports with frequent flights.
Paris has very many hotels and any which have a view from one of the rooms is likely to command a much higher price than those without. Leave your hotel early to avoid queues and bear in mind that if there are long queues at the lifts, it may be prudent to choose to go up via the stairs. Avoid carrying too much if you choose the stairs. Views across Paris are stupendous and Paris at night is marvellous, so if you'd like to see that, do time your trip to start 3-4 hours before dusk.
