Eiffel Tower Paris
The Tower pictured from below. Built by Gustave Eiffel in the late 1800's for the World Fair Exposition the tower was not intended to remain in it's current position but was to be taken down and rebuilt in other places in the world. There was a lot of objections to it's appearance in Paris when it was built, and a lot of admiration aswell.
It was the highest building in the city at the time and was of course very unusual in it's appearance. A short walk into the center of Paris along the Seine and you will be able to see the Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and all the other Parisien tourist attractions.
